RPP is celebrating yet another award.
Zimbabwe broadcaster Ronald Nhokwara has received his community’s prized Community Champion Award for 2023.
Ronald is a stalwart in his community and has been a regular broadcaster at RPP for the past six years.
His weekly program broadcast in his native Shona is heard at 6pm on Thursdays.
In making the award the Zimbabwe Community Australia, Victoria division noted Ronald’s selfless commitment to his community, his valuable services as a mentor and guide and noted his weekly volunteer commitment to RPP.
RPP Manager, Brendon Telfer says Ronald’s’ award is well deserved.
‘You may not be able to speak Shona, but give Ronald’s program a listen, the production values and African Beats are fantastic. We are very proud of Ronald”.
