Here’s what’s making RPPFM news across the Peninsula

*Detectives from the Frankston Crime Investigation Unit have arrested two people following a six-month investigation into the alleged manufacturing and sale of cloned Victorian number plates. A 33-year-old man was arrested on Sargood Street, Hampton earlier this morning. Police also executed a search warrant at a business premises on Beach Avenue, Mordialloc where they arrested a 37-year-old woman. Police continue to search the premises where they expect to seize a number of items. Quotes attributable to Detective Sergeant Nick Lamb: “Police know that number plate theft and cloning is often at the centre of more serious offending.”

*Carols by Headlights will be a community celebration over three nights at the Dromana Drive-In. The screening will feature performances from carols groups from across the Shire, local musicians and singers, guest appearances from local celebrities and even Santa himself. There will also be prizes for the best dressed Christmas car. A gold coin donation on entry is being requested for the ‘Food for All’ charity to feed members of our community in need this Christmas.
