Foreshore Parking Permits from Today

Frankston City Residents can apply for foreshore parking permits online from today [Monday].

The new permits will allow the City’s residential ratepayers and tenants to park for free at Frankston and Seaford foreshores.

Frankston City Mayor, Sandra Mayer, said old system of sending permits out in the mail is gone – everything is now on line – saving time and money.

The Mayor added that the new, contactless system meant residents did not need to visit Council Service Centres unnecessarily during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Residential ratepayers are entitled to two permits which will be valid until September 2023.

If additional vehicles are registered at the address, up to three further permits can be purchased.

Tenant permits are valid for one year from the date of issue, with a maximum of two issued per property.

Current foreshore parking permits expire in September 2020.
