Pair allegedly steal bushfire charity tin from Frankston fast food restaurant

A man and woman have been caught on CCTV allegedly stealing a bushfire charity tin from a Melbourne fast food restaurant.

The pair were seen walking hand-in-hand into the Frankston restaurant on the Nepean Highway at about 9.30pm on Monday.

The man allegedly takes the charity tin off the counter and stuffs it into the woman’s handbag.

The pair then leave the store.

Vision of the incident was released by police as part of their investigation.

Millions of dollars have so far been raised for bushfire victims nationwide.
