The 2017 Peninsula Short Film Festival (PSFF) will be held this Saturday evening at the Village Green Rosebud and RPP FM will broadcast live from the iconic event.
Sally Baillieu, RPP FM presenter of her Arts About program, Jacki Mitchell, presenter of Taking Care of Business and Tracee Hutchison, presenter of Wordy Rappinghood will invite top Australian celebrities to the microphone to discuss the evening.
Twelve finalist, Australia-wide will present their eight minute short film before a judging panel of movie and TV celebrities. Crowds of movie buffs alike also enjoy watching the short films, seated on the Village Green.
Winners will be announced on the night – first prize $5,000, second prize $2,500 and third prize $1,250.
There are other great prizes with awards for Best Animation, Best Documentary, Best International and the Woodleigh School Emerging Filmmaker Award (open to any Australian student under 18 years of age).
There is also awards for Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Cinematography.
So pack up the families, your friends, a chair and picnic hamper and head down to the Village Green, Rosebud this Saturday, 4 February between 4pm – 10.30pm. It guarantees to be a fun night of entertainment and discovery.
