RPP FM presenters debut on commercial radio

Two of our talented RPP FM ‘drive time’ presenters debuted on commercial radio SEN 1116 last Sunday evening.

Andrea ‘Andy’ Donaldson and John ‘Johnny’ McCormack present Everybody’s Talking every Sunday at 7.30pm.

Johnny said, “We talk about sports that don’t get much media play, like snow skiing/boarding Trugo, badminton, etc,.”

“It’s a sports variety show where we also get up ‘close and personal’ with sporting greats and personalities,” Andy said.

The two have an uncanny on-radio presence and natural rapport that was formed some years ago on their ‘drive time’ program called Peninsula Run with ‘Lofty’, another presenter.

Johnny and Andy are no strangers to radio and TV with both doing a little acting work here and there and rubbing shoulders with the ‘who’s who’ in celebrity circles.

She said, “It’s been a long journey to make it back to commercial radio but it’s been worth the wait.”

Station Manager Brendon Telfer said, “RPP FM local radio provides fundamental training, principles and exposure to the real world of radio and media.”

“If you are interested in media work or think you have what it takes to present your own radio program, contact me on 5975 2650 or email manager@rppfm.com.au

It’s also a great way to get involved in the vibrant, dynamic community on the Peninsula.

You can still hear Andy and Johnny, every Friday at 4pm on RPP FM when they broadcast Peninsula Run.

Congratulations Andy and Johnny – you make a great team!
