Bowlers around the Peninsula will be thrilled to hear the announcement that RPP FM’s popular program, Bowling Around the Peninsula has returned to the ariways for this summers 2016/17 season.
The program coincided with the first round of Pennant commencing this Saturday, 8 October.
Presenter Pam Dind together with her new team Gary Turner and Mike Pearce will bring you up-to-date with bowls news and details of upcoming Pennants every Saturday, 8-9am on 98.7FM & 98.3FM Frankton.
Bowls Victoria CEO, Graeme Bridge was the program’s first guest.
Other guests during the season will include Geoff Hooper PBD President, Doug Fitcher Secretary FBD, Umpire Ann Walsh, Stan Silwinski Director PBD, Phil Gude, Aaron Wilson, Dylan Fisher and Barbara Gilbert Director BV, winner of the region Volunteer of the Year.
With the amalgamation of the Flinders and Peninsula for pennant this season, we look forward to an interesting 14 rounds plus finals.
January 2017 will find the night pennant commencing which was a great success last season.
