The Bendigo Bank Match of the Day semi-finals saw a series of absorbing games with a few surprises!
Peninsula Old Boys recovered from 5/50 to notch up 225 thanks largely to John Forrest. Then they bowled Somerville out for 150.
Forrest and opening bowler Adam Jones each picked up the Mornington Lager Performance Award sponsored by the Mornington Peninsula Brewery.
Next week the Old Boys take on Crib Point who accounted for Baxter padding theory 156 with four wickets to spare.
In district Flinders pulled off the upset by defeating Red Hill 160 to 6-161.
In sub-district both top sides were defeated.
Next week the RPP FM cricket commentary crew will broadcast the Rosebud vs YCW LIVE in the Grand Final.
