Busy weekend for local cricket

It was an intriguing game of cricket in the RPP Match of the Day on Saturday.

Baden Powell hosted undefeated Red Hill and held their batting in check until the last few overs of play.

Simon Dart collected a well compiled 54 and Nick Esipoff threw the bat for an enterprising 40 to lift the Hillmen to 201.

Ryan Barnett

Ryan Barnett with 4-30 was the Mornington Lager Performance of the Day, sponsored by Mornington Peninsula Brewery.

In other games Crib Point bundled out Mornington for 103 and Langwarrin are challenging top side Peninsula Old Boys with a score of 266.
