Excited winners choose among beautiful toys

RPP FM in partnership with Noel White, owner of The Toy Workshop’s provided Christmas Gift vouchers to the value of $1000 dollars to lucky listeners who entered a sensational competition before Christmas.

We caught up with the lucky winners at the Sorrento Toy Workshop store this week whose names were drawn from the barrel just before Christmas. They, and their happy, excited children and grandchildren were thrilled to win the gift vouchers and they are:

Geoff Mezzeletti of Mt Eliza – $500 Christmas Gift Voucher

Nicole Anderson of Mornington – $250 Christmas Gift Voucher

Sue Chiodo of Rye – $250 Christmas Gift Voucher

Geoff, who has four grandchildren, Lana, Mila, Sienna and Oscar will share the $500 voucher between them said, “WOW’, this is amazing” upon hearing his win!

Local grandmother Sue said, “I didn’t believe it when RPP FM rang to tell me I’d won the Christmas Gift voucher.” She will share the win between her 3 grandchildren, Woody, Sarah and Matthew.

And busy mum Nicole who has 4 children in toe said, “I’ve never won anything before and I’m so grateful to Noel and his team for their generosity this time of year.”

The Gift Vouchers enable each lucky winner to visit any of The Toy Workshops (listed below) and choose from many beautiful toys.

toy shop toysNow in its 8th year in Sorrento, The Toy Workshop specializes in toys from yesteryear. Beautiful wooden toys and blocks are sourced worldwide including Europe & USA, there are Spinning Tops, Jack in The Boxes, Kaleidoscopes, a huge range of hand puppets and marionettes, Dolls, Plush toys, Children’s storybooks, traditional board game – the list goes on. Additionally there is a big range of gifts and toys for babies and the ‘hard be please’ child of all ages.

Noel runs his family business with children’s development and education in mind while focusing on cognitive behavior and creativity. Noel says, “we try and stock toys that promote memories of yesteryear and are made to last…..many of our toys will take you on a trip down memory lane”

“We believe children should create their own noises when playing with toys rather than relying on battery operated toys,” he added.

Thank you to Noel and this team at Sorrento for their generosity and support of RPP FM and congratulations to three local winners of the Christmas Gift Vouchers.
