With the ominous storms Saturday morning, local cricket ended half of the senior matches with the Bendigo Bank RPP FM Cricket Match of the Day starting late.
Intriguing Pearcedale batted and scrounged up 128 runs on the Mornington Lager Scoreboard against the Seaford Tigers thanks to ex-district player Shane Maggs and Shane Gillings.
Jordy Watters received the Mornington Peninsula Brewery Performance of the Day for his 5 for 48.
Other games played on the weekend saw Crib Point chasing outright points by bundling out Rye for 65 and passing their score overnight.
Glen Barclay returned the figures of 9 wickets for 24.
Next week the Bendigo Bank RPP FM Cricket Match of the Day commentators will be broadcast the Mornington v Sorrento in a one day clash.
