  • Hastings will be the place to be on Friday, 11 December 2015 when RPP FM will broadcast live from High Street.
Andy, Johnny & Lofty

The Peninsula Run radio program with presenters Johhny, Andy & Lofty will commence their broadcast at 4-6pm and bring all the excitement of the VIP Street Party where everyone is invited.

With the road closed to traffic, local traders will hold a series of special VIP events in shops and businesses for everyone to experience the festive season.



Organised by the Western Port Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) the events include:

  • Pop Up Park with a large interactive digital screen
  • Lego Making Competition
  • Prizes for the best dressed windows and lights competition
  • Up to $2000 for the best lighting display in the residential, industrial and commercial precincts.

Other events include:

  • Bunnings Children’s Workshops
  • A Makers Market
  • Live music
  • Best Dressed Super hero

WCCI Promotions Manager, Angie Baker said, “ The event opens a two month long window display and lighting showcase for the whole community to participate and show off their creative skills. The VIP Street Party will kick off the campaign and will be followed by Carols by Candlelight on the foreshore with a fireworks display. All events are free to the community.”

Get you, your family and friends down to Hastings on Friday, 11 December for the VIP Street Party commencing at 4pm – 8pm.
