The Bendigo Bank RPP FM Cricket Match of the Day was a smashin’ game on the weekend when Mornington played Sorrento in a one day game following last week’s washout.

Mornington batted first and reached 201 in the allotted 40 overs largely due to an unbeaten 101 by Jim Latham and a good contribution from Brad McDonald.

Sorrento struggled to find 4 consistent bowlers providing 9 for 167 in reply.

In other games, Curtis Stone picked up a hat trick in Mt Martha’s win over Carrum, Peninsula Old Boys remain undefeated and Pearcedale took 8 for 21 to bundle out Seaford Tigers and grab an unlikely win.
