Sensational weather for a sensational festival

What are you doing this Sunday, 18 October which promises to be a wonderful sunny Spring day?

It’s on again for young and old with the annual Main Street Mornington Festival, now in it’s 20th successful year offering plenty of family fun and entertainment.

RPP FM local radio will be there to capture the excitement live to air in front of the Grand Hotel Stage, near the corner of Main & Barkly Streets between 11am – 5pm.

Debra Mar will also do live crosses into the Late, Late Brekky Show with Bob Phillips between 10am – 11am.

The line up of talent is beyond belief with bands such as Sister Sister, Chango T’Ree, Lloyd Spiegel and Quarry Mountain Dead Rats performing on the Grand Hotel Stage.

Other entertainment venues include the PBH & NMC Stage where The Warrains will perform. The EastLink Community Stage will host local school bands and the Mornington Youth and Citizens Band.

For those who enjoy a bit of folk music, make sure you visit the Peninsula Folk Club Marquee to listen to bands like The Chovies, Memory Lane and Peninsula Jammers.

There is heaps of fun activities for kids to choose from with animal patting, magic performances, mini golf, dance demonstrations, circus performances and much more.   Empire Mall Entertainment will be full of action with performers such as Little Munchkins Dance Crew, Hip Cat Circus and Dudlee Djembe entertaining Festival goers.

There will be growers of fresh seasonal produce, delicious food and a large selection of Australia’s best wine makers, showcasing the best the Mornington Peninsula has to offer.
