Stonecats claim premiership victory
It was premiership glory again for Frankston YCW Stonecats with a thrashing of 87 points over a worn out Mornington Bulldogs. The RPP FM commentators were there from siren to siren to cover the much anticipated 2015 PFNL Grand Final.
At the completion of the first quarter, spectators were predicting a close match with just 6 points between the Stonecats and the Bulldogs. It was in the second term that the Stonecats overran Mornington who registered no score at all and YCW went into half time ahead by 67 points. YCW continued to dominate throughout the second half and kept Mornington to minimal scoring shots.

Haddock and Nolan did their best to put up a fight for Mornington but the YCW side was too strong with Mazurek, Coghlan and Eames playing great football. Hutchison and Roberts contributed 4 goals each to help take the Stonecats to their fifth premiership in six years.
