Young Mr Paul Satur, RPP FM front man of his own RPP FM program called Shake It! You Wont Break It which airs every Sunday at 6-9pm, has been invited to speak at a SYN Media radio workshop this Thursday, 24 September in Carlton.

For the first time ever, SYN Media will hold a free workshop especially for people under 26 who live in non-metropolitan areas and who want to learn the basics of radio, up their existing skills or meet other budding young media-makers from outside of their home town.

In the workshop Paul will share his radio knowledge he has learned at RPP FM including the importance of the local radio station within the Mornington Peninsula communities, involvement in local events and fundraisers through live Outside Broadcasts and as a local source for community news updates, sports, culture and music.

This is a great opportunity for ‘one of our own’ professional presenters to ‘talk up’ radio to those seeking a career in this rewarding industry.

Debra Mar Working many years in the corporate world in Melbourne and overseas, Debra found herself in the fashion industry as a designer after studying 3 years at RMIT. She now producers and presenters her own radio program The Breakfast Table every Tuesday 6-9am and writes for a local magazine. With a love of writing and being involved in the community, she has a certain curiosity of what makes people ‘tick’, Debra also writes feature stories and updates details on the RPP FM website.
