The Peninsula Football Netball Leagues finals series is underway and Sunday saw the Edi-Asp Eagles take out a 20 point win over the Pines Pythons. RPP FM was there to cover all of the highs, lows, excitement and disappointment throughout the match.

Playing to stay in the finals for another week, both teams gave it their all and the game was fought until the final siren. Edi-Asp led at every change throughout the match but Pines would not let them run away with an easy win and kept the scores close.action 6:9

Guy Hendry and Aaron Edwards were great up forward for Pines with 7 goals between them. For Edi-Asp, Todd Woodbridge was a clear stand out and also won the RPP FM Player of the Match.

Edi-Asp will enter next week as favourites to beat Mornington while Pines will have to wait until next year to give finals another shot.
