Buds burst in NFNL Grand Final
It was Grand Final day in the Nepean Football Netball League and RPP FM was there to cover the much anticipated matchup between Rosebud Buds and Somerville Eagles at Frankston Park.

The two teams previously met in the Semi Final when the Buds got a hold of the Eagles by 16 points in the last quarter results.
It was a close and and intense game from the first bounce of the ball until Rosebud came away with a 20 point win in an impressive fourth quarter. Krumeich and Boswell had great games for Rosebud along with Downie who kicked 3 goals. For Somerville, the best players included Westerman and Farrelly.

Somerville had a disappointing end to a great finals series after finishing the home and away season with 12 wins and just 4 losses. Rosebud had been a top competitor all season, finishing on top of the ladder and now complete their year with a Premiership.

Toe Punt presented the RPP FM Best of Ground award to Buds player Jason Bristow sponsored by Mornington Peninsula Brewery.
