RPP FM Match of the Day covered the Sorrento Sharks taking on the Rye Demons at David McFarlane Reserve. The match resulted in a 3 goal win to the Sharks.
Scores were close all day with both teams 47 a piece at half time. Sorrento took control in the second half and came home with an 18 point win over the Demons.
At the conclusion of the match, both teams had 8 goal kickers each with Muller kicking 4 for Sorrento. The stars on field for the Sharks included Hallahan, Schwarze and Head.
Rye’s leading goal kicker was Holmes with 3 and the best on field for the Demons included Kirkwood, Egan and Lloyd.
The player awarded the RPP FM Player of the day was awarded to Jonathon Croad of Sorrento.
