It was a distressing day for communities on the Mornington Peninsula when news came through about the stabbing death of 64 year old Hastings jeweller and Irish National Dermot O’Toole.
Dermot was loved by many locals and on the second year of his death, the Mornington Peninsula Shire and Western Port Chamber of Commerce & Industry will hold a Green Day Memorial this Sunday, 12 July at 11am.
Communities far and wide are invited to converge on O’Toole Way, off High Street Hastings for the day and everyone is encouraged to wear something GREEN.
Come down and celebrate the life of Dermot O’Toole this Sunday and remember the man he was.
All welcome.
