RPP FM & Bendigo Bank join forces again


RPP FM is always appreciative of local businesses that help support the community including our local community radio station.

Bendigo Community Bank Branches at Dromana, Rye and now Rosebud are such businesses that keeps on giving to local community.

Gary Sanford, Senior Branch Manager of all three branches is stepping up once again and sponsoring local footy on the Peninsula including the Bendigo Bank Football Show with Andrew ‘Toe Punt’ Kelly, Saturdays at 9am on RPP FM.

Bendigo Bank has a long history on the Peninsula with Rye Community Bank opening 2001, Dromana Community Bank 2007 and most recently Rosebud Community Bank 2013.

The Group is owned and operated by a locally owned public company ; Rye & District Community Financial Services Ltd.

–          80% of the Groups annual profits are distributed back to the local community.
–          The Groups annual sponsorship budget is $500,000
–          Since opening the Group has funded to the local community over $5.0M
–          The Group has amassed over $500 Million in footings (deposits & Loans), from support from the local community moving its banking.

Debra Mar Working many years in the corporate world in Melbourne and overseas, Debra found herself in the fashion industry as a designer after studying 3 years at RMIT. She now producers and presenters her own radio program The Breakfast Table every Tuesday 6-9am and writes for a local magazine. With a love of writing and being involved in the community, she has a certain curiosity of what makes people ‘tick’, Debra also writes feature stories and updates details on the RPP FM website.
