The 2015 Frankston Waterfront Festival exuded excitement, thrills and spills this year with families and friends flocking to the annual event at the Frankston foreshore.

RPP FM local radio and a team of Presenters and Production Managers were on board to bring a live coverage from the festival across the weekend, highlighting the entertainment and fun on offer.

The foreshore came alive with music, markets, rides and amusements, food, beach activities, water sports, wine and much more which made this a great way to spend a weekend by the bay.

The RPP FM live broadcast captured talented performers on the ‘Local ‘n’ Live Main Stage which included T’Ree, Heidi Louise Luckhurst Trio, Gossamer Pride and Andy Phillips & The Cadillac Walk who entertained crowds over two days.

The Rolling Stones Tribute Band played Saturday evening in the lead up to the fireworks display.

Station Manager, Brendon Telfer wishes to thank the team behind the RPP FM microphones who entertained and delivered professional radio during the weekend including Damian from program Buddha and the Bear, Debra from The Breakfast Table, Barbara Kuhl from Kool Country, Bob Phillips & Judy Banks-Phillips from The Late, Late Brekky Show, Johnny, Andy & Lofty from Peninsula Run and young Mitch on work experience.

He also extended his appreciation of the crew who helped behind the scene – Martyn Ashton, Steve Meyers and Mark Mayle for setting up our new shiny Outside Broadcast Van and getting us to air.

Another successful weekend for RPP FM and the Frankston Waterfront Festival.
