Santa has come early for RPP FM.
As of this week the station has been unwrapping its new 6 stack antenna system that gives the station three time its previous capacity.
Thanks to a generous CBF grant and the ice cool rigging skills of Steve Reining, Phil and Adam Peacock of JRD Communications, RPP FM’s new mixed polarised FM transmission system is now up and running.
Reports from across the stations target area suggest people are noticing and enjoying the difference, particularly in Frankston.
“We’ve been waiting for this day,” said station Manager Brendon Telfer – “Now we can really crank up the machine…What a Christmas Present !
Testing will continue across the summer as the team optimise the system.
Let us know what you think. Have you heard an improvement in the RPP 98.7FM signal?
