THE MORNINGTON RETIREMENT VILLAGE is excited to announce their OPEN DAY this Saturday, 11 October and RPP FM local radio will help celebrate with an Outside Broadcast on location.
Set among shady trees, idyllic private gardens and accommodation to suite all lifestyles, experience first hand the Peninsula’s best in retirement living.
This is the perfect opportunity to meet and greet the residents and feel the sense of community with a welcoming atmosphere at The Mornington.
The Open Day is offering tours, advice and recommendations for many types of accommodation to suite independent living to those who require a little more care and assistance.
Live entertainment will be provided by the Dolly Sisters, Cheryl and Sammy with song and dance. These two well-accomplished professional performers will add to the fun.
Also to entertain guests and visitors, RPP FM presenters and personalities will help set the mood starting at 8am with the Bowling on the Peninsula program with John Tinney, Pam Dind and Noel Johnson. At 9am The Locker Room and the Bendigo Bank Cricket Show combine to talk all sporting news and events on the Peninsula then at 10am until 12noon, those custodians of fun and comedy, Bob Phillips and Judy Banks-Phillips from the RPP FM Sugar n’ Spice program will ensure an enjoyable day.
A BBQ, Morning Tea and Devonshire Tea will be available with delicious Stalls of Cakes, Crafts, Tools, Bric a Brac and Plants to meander through.
