Full Court Press, the No.1 basketball radio program on the Mornington Peninsula, and RPP FM local radio are proud to announce The Frankston & District Basketball Association (FDBA) as a sponsored partner.

To celebrate the newly formed alliance, Full Court Press will broadcast live from the home of the FDBA and Frankston Blues Basketball in Seaford this Friday between 6pm – 7pm.

The FDBA CEO Nathan Jolly said, “Darren Smith, RPP FM presenter of Full Court Press and his team do an outstanding job promoting the sport of basketball in our region and brings a sense of personality to the show which makes listening entertaining as well as being highly informative in all things hoops.”

“The FDBA is the largest basketball association on the Mornington Peninsula with over 13,000 participants per annum, it was only a matter of time before the FDBA and Full Court Press made their partnership official,” he added.

The FDBA has a strong vision is to be the leader in community sports by being PASSIONATE, UNITED, INCLUSIVE and ENRICHING to all who come in contact with Frankston Basketball.

All concerned are looking forward to supporting the partnership with Darren Smith and his panelists Darren Mahony-Walsh, founder and Director of Bobcats Basketball Club and Manny Hendrix Jr, US basketball import and Western Port Steelers player. Smith added, “We are thrilled that the Frankston & District Basketball Association have joined the Peninsula Bobcats as sponsors of the only dedicated basketball show on live radio across the country, the Full Court Press.”

“Frankston is a major centre for basketball in Melbourne’s South East with a program that fosters junior development coupled with outstanding facilities.
