The Rye Hotel has been part of the Rye foreshore landmark for many years with a supportive community spirit. Now claiming the presence of a much commended  Executive Chef running the busy kitchen, the delicious culinary dishes served to the local community, tourists and weekenders is an experience to behold discovers RPP FM’s correspondent Debra Mar.

Executive Chef Michael Wilson has always had a passion for serving creative cuisine with a desire to please. This celebrated master of cooking has taken him all over Australia, ‘head chefing’ in the most pronounced restaurants and has now settled in The Rye Hotel kitchen serving the best and freshest produce and seafood on the Peninsula.

Chef Michael brings his flare of flavoursome contemporary Australian pub fare to the table with a twist of excitement. To experience his cuisine, patrons can choose from a variety of dining options at The Rye Hotel and enjoy a meal whilst absorbing the watery beauty of the bay.
