Saturday, 31 May marks the important date of the MS Masquerade Charity Ball to be held at the Mornington Racing Club in aid of Multiple Sclerosis.
Almost 24,000 Australians suffer from Multiple Sclerosis and is the fastest growing neuro-logical disease among young people. There is no known causes or cure, the average age of diagnosis is 30, 3 times as many women than men are affected and MS is highly unpredictable with symptoms varying greatly from person to person.
Debra Mar, presenter of RPP FM’s The Breakfast Table program interviewed local 37 year old MS sufferer Daniel Indelicato recently about living with the disease and the daily challenges he faces. Daniel is guest speaker at the MS Masquerade Charity Ball.
Sabrina, owner of Sabrina Moda Boutique and cousin to Daniel, is organising the MS fundraiser event and is passionate about helping the MS Society of Australia.
To purchase tickets go to www.sabrinamoda.com.au or visit Sabrina Moda Boutique, 139 Main Street Mornington Ph: (03) 5975 6084 or 0415 332 481.
All proceeds on the night will go to researching new drugs, help MS suffers improve their lives and 'Help Stop MS in it’s Tracks'.
We thank Sabrina and other volunteers who have put their time into organizing such an event to raise funds for this worthy cause.
