The Stone Cats answered every delivery made by Mt Eliza Red Legs to take out the win in the 2nd  round of the RPP FM Match of the Day proudly sponsored by Mornington & Rosebud Telstra Shop.

Frankston YCW grabbed the top score against the Red Legs, 11, 12, 78 to 7, 6, 48 revealed on the Rye Hotel Scoreboard.

In the final quarter, Mt Eliza chased the leading score with a possibility of closing the margin but was unable to perform at their best and let the Stone Cats claw ahead.

Footy commentators Dave Quinlan and Michael ‘Vossy’ Voss  presented the action ‘live to air’ at Mt Eliza’s home ground Emil Madsen Reserve.

Anthony Barry of YCW won most votes to take out Best on Ground awarded by Orbit Fitness, Mt Martha.

ANZAC Day round in the Peninsula Football League, Frankston YCW take on Karingal and Mt Eliza play Langwarrin.

The RPP FM Match of the Day will be broadcast live from Dromana when the Tigers play Sorrento on Easter Saturday. The match promises to be a spectacle with these two rival teams in the Nepean Football League putting on a show of strength.
