Your next Mornington Farmers' Market is coming up this Saturday, 12 April.
And we need your support!
As a community, it's good to support our stallholders as they support OUR local farmers, growers and producers.
Get involved, share what you know and love about local and healthy food.
Andre from Blue Bay Cheese will be along for the first time. Andre has a whole range of Goats and Cows milk cheese and has an impressive list of awards to his name.
Bass & Flinders Distillery are now offering a grape-based Vodka. Ask Wayne or Bob all about it… and try a sneaky taste.
Alan from Crabtree Darling Salts can tell you much more about his salt and give you a taste. The Crabtree range of salts and pepper are cold smoked using oak wood from recycled wine barrels. The range includes chilli, red wine, licorice, balsamic infused salts and a smoked Cajun spice mix. Crabtree also produce a range of cold smoked Victorian grown nuts, walnuts, pistachio and almonds, all cold smoked using olive wood to produce both a unique flavour and aroma.
Matt Baker from Whe-Eat, Sevenhills Boer Goat is a qualified chef with a passion for local, sustainable food. The Meat is premium quality, being awarded the delicious award finalist for 4 years and growing. It's a very diverse meat, ranging from slow cooked to fast cooked in mins. You will quite often see Matt cooking the popular 8hr Pulled Goat Tortilla with fresh seasonal vege from the Farmers’ Market on the day.
The Westernport Regional Band is an exciting band who'll perform live at the market between 11 – 11:45am.
If you're inquisitive about food and want to know more about, growing, sourcing, purchasing and cooking, then you're in the right place.
