‘Rye's Up’ has registered a Clean Up Australia Site on the Rye Foreshore this year and would encourage you to join us for a few hours on Sunday March 2 at 10am at the Rye pier car park, adjacent to the playground. We intend to clean the foreshore east and west of the pier, as we have done previously.

You can find out more details of our Clean Up at: http://www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au/Rye+Foreshore+Reserve – Site Number: 46309.

There are 3 ways you can register as a volunteer at our clean up:
1. Click the ‘Join this Site’ button on the above website
2. Register on the day
3. Return email

Clean Up Australia Day is a simple way you can take action to clean up, fix up and conserve our prized local environment.

If you have any questions please contact us on our email address: ryeactiongrp@gmail.com

You can also register with other 'Clean Up Australia Day' areas around the Peninsula.  Visit mornpen.vic.gov.au for details

Did  you know in 2013 an estimated 550,300 volunteers removed 16,150 tonnes of rubbish at 7,341 sites right across the country – but we can do better! So lend a hand on Sunday 2 March 2014 and help clean up Australia.
