Mt Martha Primary School celebrated Crown Oaks Day with a Ladies Luncheon at Safety Beach Sailing Club last Thursday.

The impressive water view over looking Dromana Bay set the scene for a great day with Mum’s dressed for the occasion to raise funds for the Primary School.

Guests were greeted with a glass of ‘bubbles’ and friendly smiles, ready for a day full of activities which included a Fashion Parade presented by Fiona’s of Mornington, silent auctions and show bags full of goodies and giveaways provided by sponsors and local businesses and the G.H. Mumm Stake and Crown Oaks Sweep.

Debra Mar, Presenter and Producer of local RPP FM radio program Breakfast with Johnno and Marzy was the guest speaker and judged the most Fascinating Fascinator and most Fabulous Frock.

One hard working organiser, Vicki Barber who has a regular segment on Breakfast with Johnno & Marzy was overwhelmed with the support and effort everyone put in to help raise funds for Mt Martha Primary.

Kim and Carly from Bendigo Community Bank Mt Martha Branch also attended the day looking lovely in black and white enjoying the live music and delicious lunch.

It was delightful to see Mum’s looking gorgeous, dressed up with hats and fascinators, matching dresses and high heels, having a good time with friends.

Thank you to all the ladies, sponsors and local businesses  who supported the day and gave their time generously to help make the day  a success.

Funds raised will be invested in the School playground with the purchase of Shade Sails.

This event is a must for your social calendar.  See you next year for the 4th Mt Martha Primary School annual fundraiser on Crown Oaks Day.
