Pete Smedley, presenter of RPP FM’s program The Breakfast Scoop will interview Wally de Backer at 3.45pm ‘live to air’ on RPP FM 98.7FM before his band, The Basics perform on stage at the 18th annual Main Street Festival Sunday, 20 October 2013.

Wally alias Gotye whose song topped the US and UK charts with ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ and won Single of the Year and other ARIA Music Awards in 2011, has reformed his band, The Basics to perform on the Grand Hotel Stage at 4.05pm.

The RPP FM presenters also have a fantastic line up of other interviews as the performing artists leave the Grand Hotel Stage including Rob Papp at 12.20pm, Tim Stout from Jam Roots at 1.10pm, Wizard and  Oz at 1.55pm Rob Dillion from Dreamboogie at 2.50pm and Marty Williams at 2.55pm.

The RPP FM marquee will be next to the Grand Hotel Stage in Main Street so come down and say hello to the crew and take the opportunity to say hi to friends and family across the airways.

It’s a great day out for the whole family, including the family dog at the 18th annual Main Street Mornington Festival this Sunday between 11am – 5pm. There will be many bands featuring The Basics and other  performers, dancing, over 70 stall holders including food and wine, fashion parade, an arcade with children’s activities and much more.
