Edi-Asp have made it to the Preliminary Final in the Peninsula Football League in the Jim’s Test & Tag Match of the Day when they played Mt Eliza in the 1st Semi-Final at Eric Bell Reserve on Sunday.

The Sea Eagles were fired up all day to win the match 10. 14. (74) to the Redlegs 5. 7. (37) on the Turnkey Homes Scoreboard.

At the three quarter siren the TurnKey Homes Scoreboard already resembled defeat for the Redlegs with a 49 point margin in Edi-Asp favour. By the 15 minute mark of the final term, Mt Eliza had kicked 2 goals with the Eagles scoring nil but it was too little too late for the Redlegs. The Sea Eagle boys only picked up 2 points in the latter half of the last quarter.

RPP FM commentators Vossy and Nat delivered the action ‘live to air’ on 98.7 and 98.3FM Frankston but with one sided scoring, the excitement and shine had gone out of the game.
