Jim’s Test & Tag Qualifying Final between Dromana Tigers and Frankston Bombers was a fizzer with a 77 point score difference at the last quarter siren, played out at Olympic Oval, Rosebud.

Dromana Tigers ruthlessly swiped their opponents confidence on the Bendigo Bank Scoreboard 20. 14. (134) to Bombers 8. 9. (57).

With Frankton scoring only 1 point in the third term widening the margin to 67 points, were ‘down on their game’ with no chance of getting on top against the Tiger’s Powerhouse.

The two teams were positioned 2nd & 3rd on the Nepean League Ladder going in to the Qualifying Final.

At half time, RPP FM commentators Vossy & Nat crossed live to the Frankston YCW match to interview and congratulate legend footballer John Coburn after winning naming rights to the eastern oval at Jubilee Park. The John Coburn Oval was named for his contribution & commitment to the YCW Football Club.
