Two very important mums joined the dynamic duo, Johnno & Marzy on their breakfast program recently to chat about their exciting and informative website peninsulakids.com.au.

Fiona & Anna spoke with passion and enthusiasm behind the microphone in the RPP FM studios to enlighten listeners about their journey and how the Mornington Peninsula Kids website was born.

It began when Fiona, as a new mum, used the Internet as a way to keep in contact with the outside world, and more importantly search for children’s activities and events available on her ‘door step’. She said her searches were futile and limited with information mainly ‘city centric’ or commercial. She saw a need and the idea flourished that would connect businesses, groups and events with parents and families.

Anna experienced similar challenges after moving to the Peninsula a couple of years ago when searching for information specific to the area to keep her children entertained and connected with other mums and groups.

Peninsulakids.com.au website is loaded with great information for parents and families with Party & Rainy Day ideas, playgrounds & play groups, health & wellbeing and much more. Services such as health care providers, child friendly cafes and restaurants, and family photographers are also listed. All information is at your fingertips without leaving home which makes your out-of-home experience more pleasurable when planned.

Fiona & Anna work continuously to keep information on the website up-to-date, relevant and work with local businesses to improve the service they provide to the local kids and families.

Both mums said they are overwhelmed by the response of locals who embraced the concept with local businesses and communities offering exciting opportunities to the Mornington Peninsula residence and visiting families the area.

With a community orientation and purpose, peninsulakids.com.au has joined forces with local radio RPP FM to form a viable and dynamic partnership to help achieve goals and objectives.

Stay tuned every Tuesday at 8.15am on RPP FM Breakfast with Johnno & Marzy when Fiona & Anna will update and chat about events happening on the Peninsula for kids.

Visit peninsulakids.com.au website dedicated to all things ‘under the sun’ for children and families.
