The first bounce of the RPP Match of the Day, sponsored by Jim’s Test & Tag proved to be a one sided game when Pearcedale severely trimmed the claws of Devon Meadows in the Panther’s den in the tenth round of the Nepean League.

Devon Meadows was scoreless in the first quarter while Pearcedale booted 8 goals. As the match progressed to the second half, Devon Meadows was much more competitive but still couldn’t keep up with the strength and strategic play of the Mighty Dales with the final siren score on the Marked Focus scoreboard 16.16.112 to 6. 8. 44.

Commentators Andrew ‘Toe Punt’ Kelly and brother Adam ‘Short Pass’ unfolded the story of this great football spectacle and always deserve a mention for their professional commentary skills. Thank you for your continued support and dedication boys!

Short Pass’s crowd estimates fell short of a 1000 as they watched the Dales midfield, led by Chris Fortnam, Chris Hensby, Pat Cadd and Ben Cadd dominate play from the first bounce to the full time whistle.

This week’s RPP FM Best on Ground, courtesy of SGI Quarries was awarded to Dales player Pat Cadd after collecting 34 possessions and booting 4 goals. Short Pass presented the biggest football trophy south of the Frankston border.

Thank you for the continued support of our great sponsors – Jim’s Test & Tag services for RPP FM Match of the Day, Marked Focus – Taxation, Accountants & Auditing specialists in Cranbourne for the Scoreboard and SGI Quarries for providing the RPP FM trophy for Best on Ground.
