RPP FM Match of the Day live broadcast, brought to you by Jim’s Test & Tag, provided all the action from Pearcedale Recreation Reserve when Pearcedale Panthers stalked and pounced on the Hastings Blues to win the match in the fifth round of the Nepean Football League competition.

RPP FM’s commentators Michael ‘Vossy’ Voss and Nathan Casterton narrated the play and announced the final score on the Hastings Mowers scoreboard, Panthers 14-20-104 to the Blues 8-15-63.

The Blues felt ‘off colour’ with Pearcedale’s dominant play which shut down a lot of their players.

Fans and players in the Panthers pit will be celebrating in the coming days with a total of 3 wins in this season’s league draw.

The RPP FM Best on Ground, sponsored by Heritage Tavern & Restaurant was awarded to Pearcedale player Chris Hensby who helped his team increase the score to bring the win home.

Thank you to our sponsors Jim’s Test & Tag, Heritage Tavern & Restaurant in Balnarring and Hastings Mowers for their support. A special mention to Bendigo Bank Mt Martha Branch for supplying the Outside Broadcast facilities for the RPP FM boys to cover the live action.
