RPP FM Match of the Day live broadcast, brought to you by Jim’s Test & Tag, saw Mornington Dogs and Karingal Bulls entered into combat in the seventh round of the Peninsula League Fixture at Alexandra Park.

Proudly broadcasting from the new RPP FM marquee which will now be second home to RPP FM commentators Andrew ‘Toe Punt’ Kelly and brother Adam ‘Short Pass’ Kelly, witnessed a one-sided match with the final score on the Pest Free scoreboard, the Bulls 12-16-88 to the Dogs 7-22-64.

Coming into the match as 5th on the Peninsula League Ladder and playing on home turf, Mornington was the favourite to win this round but when the Bulls stirred up the dust and focused on kicking the Sherrin through the middle posts, the result was inevitable.

With the help of a flat TV replay screen in the RPP FM marquee, young mastermind football statistician Jordy King kept the commentary boys and listeners updated with individual players ‘stats’ to help dissect the game.

The RPP FM Best on Ground, sponsored by Bossports Mornington was awarded to Karingal player Lucas van Raay who is a well respected member in the Bull pen playing over 200 senior games for the Club.

Thank you for the continued support of our sponsors – Jim’s Test & Tag services, Pest Free – Cares about your environment, and Bossports Mornington who sponsored the TV replay screen, Jordy’s ‘stats’ and Best on Ground.
