RPP FM commentators Michael ‘Vossy’ Voss and Nick Turner scored goals this week broadcasting the RPP FM Match of the Day live from Ballam Park between Peninsula Football League teams Karingal Bulls and Langwarrin Kangaroos on Saturday.

Final score on the Harvey Wreckers of Langwarrin Score Board was Karingal 18 13 121 charging their way to down Langwarrin 5 9 39.

The RPP FM Best on Ground, sponsored by Harvey Wreckers was awarded to young Karingal player Callan Dixon who racked up over 20 touches playing midfield and half forward.

RPP are grateful to Bendigo Bank Mt Martha branch for suppling the marquee that housed the boys for the broadcast live this week. The Red Rooster commentary booth, usually visible at the RRP FM Match of the Day, and fondly known as the ‘cavaran of love’ in close footy circles, is off the road again with a broken axle.

Next Saturday Toe Punt is back in the RPP FM commentary box to call the action from the Greg Beck Oval when Frankston Bombers take on The Buds. Toe Punt also reports on the weekend local football action on Monday Morning Wrap-up at 7.30am on RPP’s program Breakfast with Johnno.

Stayed tune to 98.7FM & Frankston 98.3FM every Saturday morning at 9am for local football news and updates and then at 2pm for the cross live to the RPP FM Match of the Day.

Stream live from rppfm.com.au and download the RPP FM App free.
